I've been practicing writing reviews, mainly for the purpose of remembering what I have smoked. Let's see how far along has my palate developed Smile I'm open to suggestions and corrections.

Size: 5 1/16 x 42 ring

Appearance: 7/10 I love the smooth wrapper underneath the white protective paper. It was not veiny and had peach fuzz. It had a slight box-pressed look and the body had inconsistent firmness possibly due to uneven filler.

Burn/Draw: 8/10 The draw was a bit tight with a straight cut, but I personally like slightly tighter draws. Unevenness of the filler is confirmed due to some bad burns. I did not need a relight as the burn corrected itself.

Taste: 6/10 The cigar got off to a good start with a light-bodied smooth CC taste, however, it went downhill after about an inch. I tasted slight bitterness and the last half of the cigar had a sour taste much like acid. I finally gave up on the cigar with two inches left due to the acid taste.

Overall: 6/10 I should not have had high expectations with this less expensive CC. Nevertheless, the cigar failed to develop and left a bad unexpected aftertaste. I might have gotten a bad one, but it will take a lot to get me to try these again in the near future.

Please share your experiences with the Fonseca Cosacos, thanks!

even when I started smoking, I wasn't able to smoke more than 1 or 2 inches from a cosaco... I find they are very bitter, and bland in taste.. most non-smokers to whom I've given out cosacos (coz I still had a few left from years ago) did not liek them one bit.. in fact most prefered the RyJ mille fleurs instead...

nowadays, the mille fleurs is my cigar to give to non-smokers... this way, they'll at least smoke something that tastes good..
