I heard so much about this cigar that I just had to pick one up. It was a bit hard so I needed to age it a bit (2 1/2 weeks) in my humidor. I decided to light it up last night. Ovrall, a good cigar - not a great cigar. But for $11 I was expecting a much better smoke.

It had a good draw, nice white, solid ash and a bit spicy on the back end. Good overall construction with a toothy maduro wrapper.

IMHO it is not worth the price. There are much better smokes out there for about half or 60% less than this: CAO Brazillia, Patel Vntage or Sun Grown, CAO Black, any R & J, Maria Guerrero - these are a just a few that come to mind.

this is exactly why there are so many different cigars available...we all have different preferences and tastes...that being said the hard to find maduro hemmingway has always been an excellent smoke when i could get them...sounds like maybe you got one that hasn't been stored properly...they far outperform any n/c R&J, and M. Guerrero(which is a cameroon wrapper, totally different profile), rocky sungrown and esp. CAO Black...but this is my opinion...and we all have one Wink
