This was a birthday gift from a buddy of mine who works at a local wine and cigar shop. It was my first cuban bolivar but most certainly not the last.
This cigar has many discernable flavors that all came together into a complex and rich savory smoke. The finish was very long. The ratio of flavor to strength was a nice balance. I had a nice buzz afterward but there was no way in hell I was about to put it down before I smoked it past the band.
I will definitely be buying a box in the near future.
That was the first cuban i ever had and I gotta say out of all the cigars I have ever had it is by far the best. Not Davidoff, Avo, Ashton or Padron comes close to this cigar. It was powerful but it was so flavorful with spices and what not it just floored me. I must say I will be trying to obtain a box one day soon.

IMHO It is totally unfair to even try and compare a Cuban with a Non-Cuban Cigar. Much less a classic such as the Bolivar Belicoso Fino.
The BBF has always maintained strong earthy flavors and a subtle sweetness along with being a bold almost classic Habanos. Trying to compare a NC with any Cuban is sort of "David vs Goliath", night and day, can not be compared, period.
Who cares??? That is not the point. Yeah Yeah Yeah... many cubans are better than many N/C's. This post was a brief review of the BBC. Most of my favorite cigars are N/C cigar but IMO none can touch the BBF. Does that mean that N/C's suck... HELL NO!!! They are different. I smoke what I am in the mood for. Tobacco is tobacco to me. I smoke cigarettes sometimes while I am smoking cigars. The only thing I don't like honestly is hookah but that is again beside the point. BBF rule!!!!!
