I was just given a couple of Padron Serie 1926 #6's as a early birthday present. I have loved the Padron Anniversary 1964 cigars and had mentioned that I wished that the PAM was a little more full bodied. I recently read that the 1926 Serie was a new creation for Padron to celebrate Jose Padron's 75th birthday. While I let these rest in my humidor, I was wondering if anyone had reviewed the 1926. I would love to hear from anyone that had tried it and your comments. In turn (after as long as I can stand them stareing at me from my humidor), I will attempt my first review of this cigar. I only hope to be as elequent as some of the current reviews that I have had the opportunity to read and enjoy here.
I have had a couple of these, and indeed find them to be excellent, very similar to the rich, chocholatey flavor profile of the PAM but fuller bodied just in the way I think you are hoping for. The trick with the 1926's is finding them!

Like Gomer said... rich, dark chocolate. An excellent smoke. The #6 was $12 here when it was available, and well worth it. I'll bet you will enjoy them quite a lot.

I now know where a couple of suppies are, and they have different sizes, Thought I'd had a heart attack when I saw a #1 for $27.00. the #6 was running $14.50, which I thought was high, but time will tell when I pull obe out and place it on my lips and that that first deep puff of full rich chocolatey smoke in my mouth.
ive had a couple of padron 1926's thanks to van. i think they were the no1 and no9 or that could of been no6. i would have to say the ones i had were in the top 3 best cigars i have ever had. they burnt perfectly and even. smoked them to the nub. i was quiet dissapointed when i had finished them because i enjoyed them so much. out here in australia the no1 cost $65, think yourself lucky you only have to pay $27. if you like the 1964 you will love these. they are so much better than the 64's i had a no1 lined up to smoke tonight if the aussies won the world cup......they didnt so i will save it for another big occasion.

I have a love hate relationship with this cigar.. I love the taste, as stated above, rich chocolate, smooth, and totally loads the palate with thick smoke.. I hate the price.. Jessus.. I wish these guys would just make wondeerful cigars without pasting such a high price on them.. for me it is 21.95 plus tax... Schit for the price of two cigars I can get a very nice bottle of bourbon. which would last me days.. Hell for 42 dollars I got some 17 year old bourbon. So I am not going to fall for the .."it's four old or older tabacco line... Just my 2 cents...
It's a damn nice cigar but I don't think it's price is justifiable..... I rather buy a The Cuban Quintet piramide .. Actually I did.. Disel

hi all. i just enjoyed a #1 last night to celebrate my birthday. they are overpriced here at $25, but the shop owner loves padron cigars, so he always maintains a large supply of them. I was shocked when i was in chicago recently and couldn't find any stores that had a steady supply of anniversaries. when they did have them, there was a 2 stick limit per customer. needless to say, i'm very spoiled. i get as many as i want.
Had one last night and it was one of the two best cigars that I have ever smoked. Enjoyed with a nice red wine in the backyard looking at the view in 75 degree temperature. A beautiful 90 minutes of bliss. ADB

They are DOGROCKETS, to me that is. Probably the worst tasteing cigar or should I say ( piece of $hit ) that I have ever smoked. I cant even give those things away

Just lucky I guess because I like the PAM 64s better than the 26s. For the price of a 26 I can have almost two 64s, or 6 3K. Ok I am not saying the 3Ks are better or even in the same class but man 24 bucks a smoke? No thanks. had it to say I tried them but for that much they better be Wow even over a Cuban Monti #2. They weren't.
