Appearance: The sleak and shiney cameroon wrapper first caught my eye. Although somewhat veiny, it was still asthetically pleasing. The wrapper was a deep brown almost red. The torpedoed head was very attractive. Construction was near perfect though.
The initial light was quite enjoyable. The first draw produced billowing smoke out of my mouth. It was almost effortless. Cream and coffee flavors were first apparent, offering a very pleasant sweetness. A third of the way through the cigar, the burn was still flawless. The ash even looked nice as it held on to the cigar without trouble. A very mild smoke at this point, so light on the tongue, yet still provided complexity for my palate.
Half way through the cigar the taste rapidly changed. A little spicier and bitter on the tongue. The flavor changing between cedar and a buttery taste, quickly loosing the original sweetness.
The spicy notes fell off and was replaced by a general harshness. Sometimes a sort of chocolaty taste pushed through, but not enough to enjoy the rest.
Conclusion: This cigar had little endurance. Started strong but ended very weak. Great flavors at the get-go that were so easy on the palate and complex but that changed quickly. Impecable burn the whole way through and great construction. A smoke worth a try, but I wouldn't expect anything special from it.
Grade: 80/100
My first review. How did I do??

I haven't had a Perdomo I liked yet. bought a couple different fivers on cbid a few years ago and was sorely disappointed with all of them. All too harsh and bitter, like an Indian Tabac.

Bought a bundle of the maduro's from Cbid about 3 years ago, and they were a decent yard 'gar. Now the flavor has almost totally disappeared, so I give them out to non cigar smokers who just want to try a stogie. However, I did buy a few five packs of assorted Perdomo Reserves in maduro and cameroon, and they're definitely better than yard 'gars.
