When I bought this over a month ago, the guy at the shop told me they were a little damp. It has been sitting in my humidor since. I decided to pour a glass of Pyrat rum and spark it. Tatse is OK, nothing spectacular. Unfortunately the tight draw is driving me nuts and ruining this cigar. I was looking forward to this but am disappointed.

zman23, I had Aurora that had a very tight draw. I think it was tasting pretty good but I could only make it barely half way and chunked it. Just got tired of constantly herfing it to keep it lit.

Mine wound up smoking a little better half way through, but it was tough getting to a smokable point. The taste was good, not great, but the tight draw was such a negative.

I had the churchill a couple of weeks ago, even though I usually don't like that size I grabbed it anyway because that was the only size they had in at the time...lots of burn issues, the draw was ok and thought the taste was average...I can find alot better sticks for $8...still have 2 in the humi that I'll let sit for awhile and try later
...smoke 'em if you got 'em

I have not tried these yet but La Aurora is one of my favorite lines. The 1495 Churchill aged with just a couple of years has some serious balance to it. I think they are better than a lot of CC out there.
