Romio y Julieta Churchill (bought as a single, so no box code) $30.95 Can $ (-$5 for riped wrapper) Tabaconist shop has had this box for a while. Im going to go out on a limb and say aprox. 1 year old. Bought this one last month.
First Apearances: -Smooth and oily with small veins. This cigar has a milk chocolate colour with a terracotta tinge to it. The cap is perfect but unfortunatly the foot of the cigar has a crack in it. (got it discounted cause im cheep)
Flavor Profile: -The fist puff showcases the nice draw as well as the big cedar and espresso overtones that give this cigar its structure. I found this cigar very nicely balanced. Medium to full bodied with lots of complexity. Chocolate, cream and spice complement that distinctive cuban flavor and make up the mid palate. I did note some acidicness at the start but it slowly passed.
Overall a very enjoyable cigar. It took me about 2 hours to smoke. If it wasnt for the price i would smoke alot more of these more often. Highly recomended.

I have not tried the Churchill yet however I do like the RyJ line of cigars both cuban and non-cuban.

This can be a phenomenal cigar. Its isn't headspinningly strong but its almost overwhelming on the palate. I love the thick chewy buttery texture. Its very decadent and goes extremely well with single malt. Thats the kind of pairing that makes you sit back and take the time to savor.

I had a glass of dows 10 year tawny with it and thought that the cigar better suited coffee due to a real creamyness i got of the palate. Just my opinion of course.

I wasn't thinking and took a sip of my wife's Bailey's while smoking a RyJ churchill. The only thing I tasted for the next few puffs was super creaminess!

The Bailey's experience got me wondering if all RyJ vitolas would have the same super creamy result, so I tried a Exhibition #3 corona gorda with the Bailey's. Nope, and not a good combination either.
