I received one of these in a trade a while back, and finally decided to pull the trigger over my lunch break today.
These are an interesting little smoke - a 3x50 mini-robusto, with a long twisted "fuse" forming the cap.
The smoke opens with intense pepper, then quickly settles into a nice blend of cedar and coffee notes as it warms up. The pepper plays with you - receding into the background, then re-appearing.
The finish is soft, almost like velvet, and it lingers - I'm still enjoying it as I type.
The draw is easy and the smoke is plentiful and cool. The ash is medium-gray and firm, holding for about an inch and a half.
My opinion? This is a great short smoke - about 30 minutes - but I wish it was longer. The flavor was really beginning to develop at the point where I had to set it aside or risk serious damage to the moustache...
This is a great smoke for lunchtime or a walk around the block, and the price is right as well - $99 per box at Two Guys Smoke Shop.
I think I'm going to add a box to my next shopping list.
So many cigars, so little time...

Well CrazyPoet, I had to buy a box of these. I have been wanting to try the DPG line and love a short smoke for the drive home from work. Looks like a great combo!

I would like to see an in-depth review of this cigar compared to the AF Short Story, and see what would be a better short smoke. I LOVE the Short Story, so to see one great short smoke compared to another in a BATTLE OF THE SHORTS would be a cool little review
