Today I smoked a Rocky Patel 1999 Connecticut Shade vintage robusto. Great Smoke. I paid $4.50 for it, which came in a glass tube. The cigar was made perfectly and smoked well. Nice smoke.

Agreed!!! For the price, the Vintage '99 is an excellent stick! But I'm a bit biased since I am a huge RP fan...'90s, '92s, '99s, Edge, and Old World Reserves all rank high on my list of favorites.

I used to smoke RP's and I had one not too long ago and it didn't really impress me. It seems to be that the RP's are starting to fall off track some. The quality and attention to detail just isn't there like it used to be. Not to say that it's a garbage smoke, its definitely not but it's been knocked down a notch or two in my book.
