In my search for more Avo 75th Anniversary cigars I came across this top notch Avo cigar. The LE5 or Limited Edition #5 really surprised me! So here goes my first review. Be gentle fellas! LOL

Avo Limited Edition #5
(5 3/8 X 52)
Wrapper: Connecticut - Ecuadorian Sungrown
Binder: Olor
Filler: Piloto Seco, San Vicente Ligero, and Criollo Seco

Appearance and construction: This Sungrown wrapper is a deap brown shade that is absolutely flawless. Construction is really unbeatable on this cigar. The cap was nice with some minor lumps. It cut perfect with my Zikar cutter. Draw was also perfect. The cigar was firm with no soft spots.
14/15 points.

Flavor: Prelight draw was sweet with alittle spicyness. This cigar started off with alot of heavy spice. The flavor was full bodied with hints of pepper, spice, and wood. The ash held well until about 1/2 through this Robusto sized cigar when I knocked it off. The second half of this cigar settled in nicely. It smoothed out with less spice and more of a sweet bread taste. Really a great cigar. Strong at first then settled in for the finish.
23/25 points.

Smoking characteristics: This cigar producted tons of smoke all the way through. It had a perfect burn with no touch ups needed. The draw was alittle loose but nothing to worry about. The ash was solid and white.
23/25 points.

Overall impression: This is the best Avo to date. This Limited Edition was made for Avo's 79th birthday by Davidoff and only 3000 boxes produced. It was alittle pricey at $12 a stick but in my opinion well worth it for this quality of cigar.I have another cigar and will definitely see how it ages. If you like full bodied, flavourful cigars like me this is a must try. Now to find more of them!
32/35 points.

Total score: 92
This is a well deserved high score for such a great limited edition cigar that will only get better with age!

That what I originally thought but after going to a couple of other sites trying to find the blend I put what I had. Now I went to Avo's site directly and the correction should be right on. Thanks bro...

Thanks Stogie! I gave it a shot.

The second paragraph on the page in the link has all the info directly from Avo. I was confused also because a couple of the sites I went too had different wrappers listed. So I went to Avo's site directly.
