The local Tinder box recieved a couple boxes yesterday and I tried one today. Pre lite smells great. Feels great in the hand. Firm, no soft spots and a triple seem cap which surprised me as I havn,t heard that mentioned. The draw was tight, maybe just the one I got. I used a poker to unplug. Did not seem overly humid. Started off mild until 1/4th of the way through. Then it started to pick up body. Very grassy, then as it became bold it picked up spice and earthyness. 2/3rds down and it was leathery and woodsy. I can't say I loved this cigar espcialy with the price. I will try again after letting it sit a month or more. Anyone get a chance at these yet?
For whatever reason, I love the Seijas Signature toro format. Certainly, as you said, there's no real bang for the buck here. Normally I'd steer people away from something this pricey but for me, this is the most flavorful cigar with the least power. When I want something substantial on an empty stomach, this is what I reach for. I'm surprised you experienced any grassiness and especially a bad burn and draw -- mine have been uniformly perfect, which is as it should be given the price.
Altadis is expanding production on these for 2007 and increasing distribution. Let's see if quality holds up.
In my opinion the best mild cigar on the market. Normally I smoke full bodied cigars, but for this cigar I make an exception. Another fine example of the quality that is Altadis U.S.A.

I agree w/ Jamal, def the best mild cigar on the market. If you hate on this cigar it's prob because you are unable to aquire them for whatever reason(availability or price). I do not work for Altadis, why would you assume Jamal does?
I don't know. For the price, is it truly worth it for a mild cigar. I can think of other great milds like the 5 Vegas Gold line that would be much less expensive. I guess I'm going to have to hunt one down and try it.

That post makes absolutly no sense Chris. Of course there are good mild cigars that are cheaper. There are also cheap full bodied cigars that are good and cheaper than VSG and Opus, does that mean they aren't worth buying either? The majority of cigar smokers smoke mild bodied smokes. Makes sense to me to offer a super premium mild smoke as is done w/ medium and full bodied smokes.
I agree, some of my favorite smokes for early in the day are mild bodied

My point is that there are cigars out there that could offer the same quality at a less expensive price. That's all. To say that my post makes no sense is a bit flippant and uncalled for.
