Probably one of the best smokes I've had in a wicked long time. Toro, Churchill or Torpedo, pick one. Powerful yet not overpowering. Beautiful ash. Amazing construction. Smoke was ideal. Taste was a little nutty, some hints of chocolate but very faint.Perfect smoke for a relaxing weekend or a rainy night w/ the wife/gf in the hammock. I'm probably going to invest my 401k into a life long stock of these babies. If you get the chance, indulge! Let me know what you think.
I'm a little late to respond however I've had two of these over the past week and so far it's my favorite cigar to date. Great burn, great flavor, good burn time. I had ash of about 2-3 inches before tapping the ash tray. What was left was this great orange glow Great cigar. As a comparison i've had, RP Old Worlds, Bahia Golds, RP Vintage, ICON, Don Pepin... Probably a few others.

The stick sounds nice, but so does having a wife and a GF in the same hammock while you enjoy, what sounds like a phenomenal smoke.
Just curious, what is the price per stick and where did you get them? I currently feel the Gurkha Centurion Double Perfecto is the best Gurkha I have had, but I have yet to try one of those.

Cyrann, The best way I can explain it was just real smooth but with great flavor. To me it was just toasty and nutty. The burn was so clean and smooth and never got to hot or cold. I can get them here at my local shop for about $9-$10 per stick. I have never purchased a full box of anything yet but these may be my first. Gurkha makes quite a few different variations and i'm not sure where these fall on the hiarchy. Price wise they seem to be middle on down compared to other Gurkha's. I have a Grand reserve that I will try after a good turkey dinner tomorrow. I'll report back.

Never tried em' but willing to learn! Just finished a Garo - Habano and truthfully it didn't stand up to the Gurkha at all or much else for that matter

Well, let me know if you get some because I would gladly trade you a Centurion or whatever we want to arrange for one. I have seen the Centurions anywhere from 12-30 bucks a throw and have enjoyed every stick I have smoked.
Let me know if you want to arrange something...

Cyrann, I'm just getting my collection together so let me get back to you on that when I have it built. Probably a few weeks. Sounds like fun. Always willing to try something others recommend!
