this is my first review so forgive me if i take some poetic licence.full-body robusto pre-light: sweet, peppery, strong tobacco taste.
lit it with colibri, silky draw, molasses flavor, deep sweetness, but not too sweet, perfect draw, spicy undertones began to develope as the cigar approached the 3/4 inch mark, and i drank only water. as time went by the spiciness moved to the foreground as we approach the one inch mark, deep grey ash, and sweet aroma. wisps of molasses and spice intertwine and notes of cedar begin to develope, getting sronger as we approach an inch and 1/2. The ash is still nice and intact. the cigar retains it's sturdy feel in the hand, tons of creamy smoke roll from my mouth and nose and i relase my ash, inside it burns a nice white and light grey. sweet notes become deep and woody, but retain their sweetness as we approach inch and 3/4, this cigar has some power, reaches a powerfull peak of deep sweet woodyness then becomes sweet, creamy and, caramel-like, cedar begins to develope and mix with the sweetness. This cigar was so good i had to stop concentrating and lose myself in the pleasure of the moment. the finish was good trust me, don't buy any of these because i wan't them all.

It sounds like it made your pants wet. I love that Sun Grown Brazillian maduro wrapper.

The Torano signature is a great smoke. I was honored to sit with Charlie and Carlos at the Vegas Big Smoke and enjoy smokes, drinks and conversation Thursday night. A great company and a great family. How many company CEO's do you know that would sit and enjoy a cigar with their customers. Torano is a class act all the way.
I had one of these a few weeks ago, traded a CAO GOL! for it. They are a great cigar, very similar to the CAO Brazilia line, only I'd say the flavor is more pronounced in the Torano's. What's better, the price point on these is lower. I just ordered myself a box of Toro's yesterday.

Got my hands on a Robusto today. Should have let it rest in the humi a little but gave in this time. As it started out I was a little disappointed. You guys really made me expect a lot. Kind of figured this thing was going to cure cancer the way ya'll talk, anyway, 1/4 of the way in I remembered why I started this filthy hobby. Man what a cigar! Top of my list.
--------------------------- Don't smoke Toranos, they have warning labels!

I have been disappointed by Torano's that I haven't let sit in the humi long enough, but later found out that the experience was limited to one store I was buying them from. That being said, I have been very pleased with the ones that have rested for a while.
The Signature Perfecto is a fantastic smoke and in my opinion one of the best of the whole line. Smokeall.com sells a 5 pack of the perfectos that was how I gave them a shot. A great short smoke.

CAO Brazilia and Torano Sigs are both rolled by Torano in the same factory. Both have a Brazilian wrapper. It wouldn't surprise me if the blends shared components.
I like all of the Brazilias and the Sig. Perfecto and Robusto.

I couldnt agree more Andy. I have had a few boxes of Toranos that needed several months before they smoked like I remembered them. Sad part is by then they are almost gone. The last box of torano silver corona grandes I had started getting really good when there were only 2 left. But, you are right, there is no doubt about it when they are hot they are hot.
I also notice that the brazilias and the sigs are kinda similar. I always find them a little floral. I think the brazilian wrapper is a nice change of pace from broadleaf maduros.

I had the Toro size, much better. I mean a TON better. Now I see what all the hype's about.
By pound, Im guessing you mean puffing the $h!t out of them. If that is correct you should really take you time with them or the flavors will turn funky and seem muddled.

you can say that again. The Churchill is not a smoke to huff on while walking the dog. I tend to smoke way too fast when I smoke alone...unless I have beer or something to slow me down.
Guess I better work on that.
Peace.
