Had my first LG this evening. It was the chisel shape. The cold draw was chewy tobacco that left a spice on your palate. Had a bit of trouble lighting this smoke up and staying lit. When burning good, it gave an ample amount of smoke that was not heavy and left a clean spice finish. During the first of the cigar it was bold and spicy. It had strong tobacco flavor with a hint of light flavor I can't detect. The second lost the powerful spice and mellowed to good strong tobacco. The third went back to spicy and bold. I smoke this cigar very slowly which could account for the burn/lit problems. It is very strong and has left me a little shakey. It leaves a spice in your stomach that I still feel. Sometimes I like this about a cigar but sometimes you just don't want that leftover feel. For sure this is a one day smoke. I don't think I would feel like another smoke after having the Diez. I really liked this smoke and enjoyed it. I can see aging some of these. As always, what does anyone else have to say regarding the Diez series?

I have long been a fan of Litto Gomez he really makes some great cigars. If you liked the chisel try the Litto Gomez Small batch #2 they just got them in at Jack Schwartz i had one tonight after dinner. It blew me away what a great smoke.I thought the small batch # 1 was awesome but i think the #2 was much spicier and bolder with loads of smoke and strong tobacco flavor.I must try if you like the Litto Gomez line of cigars.

I don't get these. I love Litto's stuff so I figured these would be a slam dunk. I smoked the toro size, whatever that is called, and it was all power and no flavor -- just a very lean, peppery character with an almost nonexistent finish. I bought a bunch for my friends to try -- guys who smoke two or three cigars a day -- and they all had the same impression. Maybe it was just a bad box but these just weren't for me. Of course, it's tough to fault Litto since I either like or love all of his other lines...
