Finally had an opportunity to try out this smoke I got out of the newbie box pass.

I've never done one of these reviews with the numbers before, but I'm going to try it. Please bear with me, and don't make too much fun of me.

Appearance and Construction (13/15)

I love the appearance of this cigar. A silky feel to the wrapper, a beautiful color and not too veiny. Stick was firm when lightly squeezed. I thought the cap was nicely put on and was easy to clip the cigar right at the cap. Had a nice, even clip.

Flavor (20/25)

Had woody notes throughout. Seemed to be a light spice to the smoke. Seemed ALMOST a tiny bitter part-way through, but quickly mellowed back out. Seemed to be a medium strength smoke. As it got down to the finish, I couldn't put it down. Seemed to turn to more of a richer, cocoa flavor.

Smoking Characteristics (25/25)

Wonderful! From the easy light, the easy draw, beautiful straight burn, right up to the beautiful volumness gray smoke. I loved how the cigar smoked. I love thick, pillowy plumes of smoke rolling off of it, and from my mouth. Great smoke-ring potential! *griN* Such a great easy draw. And surprisingly, never really got hot from such an easy draw.

Overall Impression (30/35)

I thought this was a great cigar. Had good flavor, had a great experience in smoking it. The White Russian I had with it complimented the flavors perfectly. I enjoyed this stick, and would try more. Would love to try the Robusto.
