I can say I have smoked the Vision a couple of times and while I wouldn't say it sucked, it wasn't at all impressive, especially considering the price.
That isn't to say that CAO doesn't make good cigars. I have enjoyed and would buy cigars in the Brazilia, Italia, and America lines. I've also tried the Soprano cigars, but they weren't for me.
Also, I know this isn't the Gurkha bashing thread, although some have tried. I like Gurkha cigars in general. I think the Gurkha Black Dragon is especially good.
And as a final comment, while I would agree that many brands make better cigars than the Vision in this price range including Padron and Tatuaje, I don't know where your are going to get Opus X's in this price range. I can't!
thnks for toping this. a classic thread IMO "Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points." -Don Pepin Garcia http://www.flickr.com/photos/37489317@N04/

Man, this is really, really funny. There aren't very many threads where I care to read all 13 pages, but this ExtensionCord guy was frikkin' hilarious! Probably works for CAO now as a marketing manager...

Grabbed one out of a full box at my BM. Had to try it after reading this thread. Yup they still suck!
