I had my first Ashton Heritage (the Belicoso) last night. What a handsome and interesting little cigar.
The thing that impressed me about it was the contrast between the earthy, bitter, vegetable flavor that I assume came from the sun grown tobacco and the refined construction and the creamy smooth quality of the smoke. What an awesome experience.
If only they weren't $13 a stick.

so far, i still feel that ashtons are overpriced and overrated. vsg;s are damn good for dominicans, but dammit, at that price, i cant justify most of em.
Noob, and an FNG to boot!

The VSG is one of the best cigars I ever had, and @ $8 for a robusto I'm ok spending that. As for the Heritage their wasn't one thing I ejoyed about that cigar. I had 2 boxxes on pre-order when I got a couple singles, but once I smoked them I cancelled the order.
