Last night I torched up the '92 Vintage Robusto, this is a week after my first 'Rocky' cigar - the Sun Grown Toro. I thought the Sun Grown was a knockout but the Vintage totally blew me away. By far these are the absolute best constructed cigars that I have ever had. The '92 had a beautiful hand and appearance equally matched by the gorgeous aroma that came off the tip upon lighting it. My only negative comment was that the draw seemed to get a bit tight as I neared the end, other than that a perfect 10.

I may be talking blasphemy, but I have never really had one that made me think "I must have a box of these ASAP!" They are good cigars, but I guess just not my thing. However, every once in awhile, I'll still buy one just to see if they'll ever do if for me.

I had a 1992 a couple weeks and was blown away. I have a 1990 staring at me from the old humidor. Have any of you had the '90? If so, how did it compair to the '92?
Cigars are like women: They come in all shapes and sizes and the good ones are expensive.
I'm with you guys (eddie, and idesign). I like the vintage series. It consistently delivers but has never blown me away. Someone was very accurate a while back in describing them as a poor mans PAM. Problem is, even the real deal PAMs aren't that impressive.

I've had two of the 1992's. Rocky Patel made an appearance at out local Cigar shop and we got to sit around and talk with him. The 1992 seems to be one of his more favored cigars. I had one before I met him and I smoked one at the cigar shop while he was there.
It could have been because I was standing right next to the man, but it was one of the better cigars I've had. Granted I've only been smoking for a month, but I've smoked well over 20 cigars of different brands and wrappers. It is definitly one of my favorites so far. Very smooth all the way through and the flavor is one that I particularly like. I'm not really sure how to describe it well though because I'm new to this, but I definitly recommend this smoke.
I know I'll be buying a box when I can afford it and when there's room in my humidor.

I whole heartedly agree. I am not a fan of Pam or Pan I am.
Peace.
