So I smoked the Toro the other night and I really did not care for it. And now I am thinking why it has been getting all these good ratings. It was very well constructed, had a great draw and a good burn. But I did not pick up on any real good flavors. Any thoughts on theses?

I smoked one of these on sunday and neither I nor my wife were impressed with it. She said it "tasted like a cigarette". I have never smoked a cig so I couldn't say, but the notes I wrote down mentioned that it didn't have any real flavors, it was just "tobacco". There wasn't anything to it, it was just kind of abrupt.
I wasn't impressed with it at all.
I thought maybe it was just me, since I'm just starting out.

I think they are a good AM cigar. They also are good for noobs to hand out
"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points." -Don Pepin Garcia
Our regional Rep for General cigar handed me one and told me to smoke it yesterday, my review is similar to the OP. Bland, honduran, and boring. Good burn thou.
for hoyo's I'll still take a 1066 Lancelot any day, or a prensado oscura
